Gemeenschappelijke uitgifte "30 jaar Europese Vlag" 2015

Dat is toch nooit zo? Volgens mij stemmen ze dat niet op elkaar af en kan het zijn dat als het ontwero bekend is de eersten al beginnen te slaan en dat bijvoorbeeld Spanje weer lekker laat is zoals gewoonlijk. mar ja november is al eind 2015 dus laten we hopen dat het allemaal voor januari uit is gegeven.

In het programma van Portugal staat de munt vermeld. Uitgifte staat gepland voor november.

Oplage voor Portugal is 500 000 stuks in UNC kwaliteit, 10 000 in BU en 10 000 in Proof kwaliteit.

30 november. Als het jaar al bijna om is, worden de munten uitgegeven in waarschijnlijk zeer lage oplages.

In maart 2014 is er tijdens een meeting in Parijs gesproken over deze munt. Toen is besloten deze munt NIET uit te gaan brengen, gezien de te korte periode om het goed voor te bereiden. Toch is begin december besloten om het project toch door te zetten. Hoewel volgens sommige munthuizen nog steeds niet bekend is of deze munt er wel komt...

Dat zou stille hoop betekenen dat Nederland tóch een nationale uitgifte zal brengen . Ik hoop Vincent van Gogh of toch 200 jaar sinds de kroning van Willem I.

Dus het "project" zou wel eens afgeblazen kunnen worden ?

500.000 UNC munten is de standaard de laatste jaren van Portugal.
Zijn er al berichten/geruchten dat er landen komen met een kleinere oplages ?
Met 500.000 munten moet het mogelijk zijn om onder de €4,- de munten aan te kunnen kopen.
Vind het ondertussen en heel jammerlijk verhaal worden. Totaal niets zeggend thema met waarschijnlijk lage oplage.
Hoop dat het design nog wat positiefs word anders is het helemaal kopen om compleet te worden.

Misschien dat het toch nog niet zo somber gesteld is...

Griekenland heeft de tweede nationale uitgifte door deze gemeenschappelijke 2 euro herdenkingsmunt geschrapt.

Ik vindt het tweede ontwerp eigenlijk erg tegenvallen, die eerste daarentegen zou zeer mooi uitkomen op een munt!

Competition by the European Union for the selection of a design for a commemorative coin of nominal amount of €2 that will be issued in 2015 on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the European Union Flag

The Central Bank of Cyprus announces the launching by the European Commission of a competition for the selection of a design for a commemorative coin of nominal amount €2 that will be issued in 2015 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the European Union flag.

Entries to the competition must be of a professional standard and be submitted in a closed envelope with indication "COMPETITION ENTRY - COMMEMORATIVE COIN FOR THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE EUROPEAN UNION FLAG". The entry deadline will be Friday 20 March 2015 at 11:00 a.m..

Enclosed in the entry envelope, must be a separate closed envelope with indication of the participant's details (name, address and telephone number) containing the design(s) submitted. The entry envelope can be submitted either by post to the address of the Central Bank of Cyprus, 80 Kennedy Avenue, 1076 Nicosia or P.O Box 25529, 1395 Nicosia or by hand at the Cental Bank of Cyprus, Cash Section. Entries by post should be sent in time so that they reach the Central Bank within the stated deadline.

Entries and related designs must comply with the terms of the competition and coin specifications set out in "Attachment 1 - Specifications". The proposed design must not bear the designer's initials. Furthermore, participants will have to complete a signed declaration on Copyright, as per "Attachment 2 - Declaration", which must be inserted in the entry envelope.

The pre-selection of the best five designs will be made within the current month by a jury composed of two designers not having submitted designs for the competition, the chair of the sub-committee of the Economic and Financial Committee of the European Union responsible for euro coins and representatives from the Economic and Financial Affairs Directorate of the European Commission. The final design will be selected by the European Union citizens and residents in May, when they will be invited to vote via a special web page set up for this purpose by the European Commission.

It is planned that the prize for the winning design will be a two-person city trip to Milan with cultural program.

Annex I
Specifications for the design competition for a 2-euro common commemorative coin celebrating 30 years of the European Union flag
Design requirements:
The design should symbolise 30 years of the European Union flag. It should visualise the European Flag as a symbol not only of the European Union but also of Europe's unity and identity in a wider sense. It should reflect the ideals of solidarity and harmony among the peoples of Europe.
In accordance with the rules on national sides the design cannot include the denomination, or any parts thereof, neither the name of the currency. This does not, however, exclude a symbol of the currency. The established rules for the design of national sides should obviously be respected. The compulsory elements of the coin are:
 on the outer ring: the 12 stars of the European flag completely surrounding the design;
 in the inner circle: the year 2015 (e.g. "2015" or "1985-2015") and the text "ISSUING COUNTRY" (that will be replaced by the name of each country in its language(s) on the coin to be issued).
The design should preferably not include any other text in order to avoid possible translation difficulties and to limit the difficulties for those countries having several national languages. However, if there is a text, it should be extremely short and in English. The design shall be drawn up in such a way that, where applicable a mint mark can be added in the inner circle of the coin. Furthermore, a design in the form of a map should preferably be avoided since it might be seen as repetitive to have a geographical representation on both sides of the coin. A short explanatory notice on the submitted design can be added on a separate file or sheet.
Mints are allowed to submit more than one project.
Projects can be sent either electronically or on A4 paper. The technical requirements of the electronic files are:
JPEG- format, 72 DPI and 300 DPI 10 cm diameter white background, no shadows RGB: grey can be chosen; yellow 254 / 210/ 62 CMYK: grey can be chosen; yellow 1 / 16 / 86 / 0 Gradient as needed
